This is a two part video series demonstrating our patent-pending Pterosails. They have been extensively tested by crossing the state of California into Arizona and further testing in TX, CO, IA and IL. This is a street legal recumbent trike that uses the wind as a major source of propulsion. They were designed with stability and safety in mind. The stability of the vehicle is due to a unique jib-type sail that effectively pulls the Pterosail forward while keeping all three wheels firmly planted on the ground. Additionally, the system has a electric power system that can convert wind energy directly into storable power for later use by a small, yet powerful electric-assist motor.
